Back in February 2011, when I and my friends attended the
CFC – Singles for Christ International Conference (ICON) at Naga City, we got
to visit one of the famous tourist attractions in Bicol region – the Camsur
Watersports Complex. The place takes pride of its world-renowned wakeboarding
facilities. And nah, I was not able to try that sport considering that it was
only few months ago that my left shin (the part below the knee) was fractured.
The Camsur Watersports Complex, or CWC, is located in the Provincial Capitol Complex in Naga City. Since the ICON was held right in the sports complex, the CWC was just a stone’s throw away from us. The park is specifically designed for water-related sports like wakeboarding, wakeskating and waterskiing. The CWC offers a 6-point cable ski system that runs along a man-made water channel (which looks like a real river). The facilities cater to both professional wakeboarders and beginner riders. They have an area for those practicing and new to the sports.
Aside from their sports facilities, the complex is also
dotted with countless restaurants, sand bars, spas, swimming pool, pro-shops,
grand stands, and several choices of accommodation like mansion suites,
cabanas, trailer homes, wooden houses, villas and tiki huts. For more details
about CWC, you may visit this site.
