Why Study at Goldenstate College

In my string of articles about the colleges and universities in General Santos City, I have previously featured three of the biggest names in the area (Mindanao State University – General Santos City, Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, and Mindanao Polytechnic College). Let us now continue by taking a look at the city’s premier school of practical arts – Goldenstate College, Inc.

Goldenstate College is a non-sectarian institution established in 1992. The school had a humble beginning, manned by only seven administrators, twenty-nine instructors and 160 students. With its vision of giving the youth access to quality education, the school is responsive to the demand of society for technical skills. So in 1997, Goldenstate had finally provided two building spaces for its growing population. In 2001, the school changed its name to Goldenstate College, Inc from the original Goldenstate Institute, Inc. Over the years, the school had produced skilled graduates in technical and practical arts. Many of them had been trained not only within the locality but also abroad. Presently, the school is situated at Pedro Acharon Boulevard.
