Kung Hei Fat Choi at Asian Tongue

Today is the first day of the Chinese New Year! I am not Chinese, so do my neighbors and the entire nation. But today is a special non-working holiday, so no papers to worry about and no class lessons to prepare. And just the perfect timing to go out for a while.

Since it is the Chinese New Year, why not have some Chinese food. So for lunch, we headed to Asian Tongue, the branch located at Roxas Avenue, Dadiangas East.

All sorts of flavor were there, but mainly Thai, Japanese, Singaporean and Filipino. Quite disappointing that there were not much Chinese foods. So we just settled for the Chinese seaweeds and some Japanese meals.

The food was really worth the price. So much food on a single plate that I felt like committing one of the deadly sins – gluttony. LOL! The place is nothing fancy, but comfortable and classy enough. Wi-Fi is free, and there is also a wide screen projection of cable TV. There chit wallet is also fun and creative. And on top of everything, beautiful ladies were serving us.

After a huge lunch which, extended up to the afternoon, we hit the mall, looked around, and later watched Underground: Awakening in 3D. Such a disappointing movie. Then some fried ice cream for dinner. LOL!

Kung Hei Fat Choi to everyone!
