It had been a hot afternoon but nothing had deterred my students from finishing the project they had been planning for a long while now. Well, before that, we played a simple mind game they called “werewolf” and after long rounds of game with nobody winning, they started to get up and took the shovels.
So the raking, cleaning, shoveling, mixing and cementing were done. Sweats all over and splashes of grout and dirt. They wanted to re-create the PSAE (Philippine Society of Agricultural Engineers) logo on the ground. It was kind of intricate but somehow, they managed well. This is how the logo looks like.
What they have done is not yet so close to the picture, but they were getting there. In the coming days, I hope more details shall be added and the figure be more defined and recognizable.
Well, not only the PSAE officers but almost all of our students were busy. Some were weeding the ground, while others were landscaping or maintaining the ground.
So it was very hot. Dry. Sweaty. And exhausting. But as people say, just “talk” things through and you would only be surprised that something has been done.
