The Generals would have another reason to celebrate and get
excited about as a talented kid will grace an American TV Show. Yes, once
again, Ellen Degeneres invited another General – Aldrich Lloyd Talonding – to
sing in her show.
“Last week I saw this video of a young singer. He’s from the
Philippines. You gotta see this kid, amazing,” Ellen said. She later said, “How
beautiful is that? It’s that soul in that little boy. So, I’m looking for you.
Please come here and sing to me and all of my friends here. You are amazing!”
In his YouTube video, Aldrich sang Luther Vandross’
phenomenal hit “Dance With My Father” with such angelic voice and captivating
tone. He certainly pulled some heartstrings in me. Presently, the video has
almost one million hits. With him in the video is his guitarist and cousin
James Walter Bucong.
According to their talent manager Sharla Talonding (who also
uploaded the YouTube video), before their breakout in The Ellen Degeneres Show,
Aldrich and James will be appearing in some ABS-CBN shows like Gandang Gabi
Vice, ASAP, Showtime, and Umagang Kayganda.
It can be remembered that Ellen Degenerous had previously featured
in her show talents like Charice, Rhap Salazar and fellow General Zendee Rose
Tenerefe.
